Who you're buying from
Yard Store is a farm shop at Royal William Yard, Plymouth, run by RWY Store Ltd. When you order on this website, your contract is with RWY Store Ltd. These terms apply to orders placed online. They don't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Delivery fees are shown before you pay. We check every price when you check out, so the total you see on the payment step is the total you pay.
Payments are taken securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Your order is confirmed once your payment has gone through, and we send a confirmation to the email address you give us.
Stock
The shop sells the same products in person, so stock can run out. We hold your items while you pay. If something still can't be supplied, we refund that item automatically.
Collection
Choose a collection time during opening hours when you check out. Come to the till with your name or order number. If you can't make your time, let us know through the Help button.
Delivery
We deliver around Plymouth by same-day courier or in our own van in booked slots. Which options you see depends on your postcode and the time you order. Someone needs to be in to receive the order, especially if it contains alcohol.
Alcohol
You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol, and you confirm this when you order. We check ID on collection or delivery (Challenge 25). We won't hand over alcohol if no one can show valid ID, or to anyone who appears to be buying it for someone under 18. In that case the alcohol comes back to the shop and we refund it.
Refunds
Our refunds and returns page explains what happens if something's wrong, if you change your mind, or if you need to cancel.
Our responsibility to you
We're responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not taking reasonable care. We don't limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Please check labels for allergen information before eating, and ask us if you're unsure.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute.
