Yard Store is run by RWY Store Ltd, and RWY Store Ltd is the seller of everything you buy on this website. This page explains when you can get your money back and how. It doesn't affect your legal rights.
If something's wrong with your order
If an item is faulty, damaged, past its date or not what you ordered, tell us within a few days of getting it, or sooner for fresh food. We'll refund it or replace it, whichever you prefer. You may be asked for a photo so we can sort it quickly.
If we can't supply something
Occasionally an item sells out in the shop after you've ordered it. If we can't supply it, we refund that item automatically. You don't need to ask.
Changing your mind
Fresh and perishable food, such as bread, fruit and veg, dairy, cheese and deli items, can't be returned just because you've changed your mind. That's normal for food, and the law allows for it.
For other items bought online, you can cancel within 14 days of receiving them, as long as they're unopened and in the condition you got them. Tell us through the Help button and we'll explain how to return them. We refund the item price within 14 days of getting it back.
Cancelling an order
If you need to cancel before your order is packed, tell us through the Help button as soon as you can and we'll refund it in full. Once an order is out for delivery or ready to collect, we treat it as delivered.
Alcohol and ID checks
You need to be 18 or over to buy alcohol, and we check ID on collection or delivery (Challenge 25). If no one at collection or delivery can show valid ID, we keep the alcohol and refund it automatically. The rest of the order is still yours.
When your money comes back
Refunds go back to the card you paid with. They usually show up within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank. Delivery fees are refunded too when the whole order is refunded or if the problem was ours.
