Yard Store is run by RWY Store Ltd. RWY Store Ltd is the controller of the personal information you give us through this website. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and phone number when you place an order, so we can confirm it and reach you about it.
- Your delivery address and its location on a map, if you choose delivery.
- What you ordered, how you chose to get it, and your confirmation that you're 18 or over if you buy alcohol.
- Whether an ID check passed on collection or delivery, for alcohol orders.
- Basic technical information, such as your browser and the pages you visit, to keep the site working and improve it.
Your basket is saved in your own browser so it's still there when you come back. It isn't sent to us until you check out.
Why we use it
We use your details to take payment, prepare your order, collect or deliver it, send you updates about it and handle refunds. This is necessary to carry out our contract with you. We keep sales records because the law requires it. We don't send you marketing unless you've asked for it.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, which processes your payment. We never see your full card details.
- Our courier partner, Stuart, if you choose same-day courier delivery: your name, phone number, address and any delivery notes.
- Google, for address lookup at checkout and the maps on this site.
- Our email provider, to send order confirmations and updates.
- Error monitoring and analytics services, which help us find problems on the site and see which pages are useful.
We don't sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting and tax, which is normally six years. Technical and analytics data is kept for a shorter time.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we don't need to keep it, or object to how we use it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
